Keep Your Wheels Clean!

For those of you that follow our social media, you may have noticed an Instagram Reel within the last few weeks with the "hawk tuah" girl, with the post insinuating that keeping your wheels clean is as easy as spitting on them. Unfortunately, "spitting on that thang" is not going to work. Instead, follow this handy guide to keep your Vöxx Wheels clean.

First, make sure your brakes and wheels are not hot because that can affect the cleaning process. Then, give your wheels a good rinse to remove any loose dirt or dust. Now you can apply any multipurpose wheel cleaner to the wall of your tire and agitate with a stiff bristle tire brush to remove all the grime from the tire’s crevices. After cleaning thoroughly, you can rinse off the remaining product. Next you will apply a wheel cleaning product to all the areas of your wheel, especially the barrel as this is where most of the brake dust will collect. Let it set for a few minutes, then agitate, and rinse. At Vöxx, we like to use natural products and try to avoid those containing harsh chemicals that will eventually damage and corrode the finish on your wheels. Using natural products is better for yourself and the environment as well! When you go to dry your wheels, make sure they are not drying in the sun because this leads to water spots on your wheel, instead you can use a leaf blower or a microfiber cloth. This step is optional, but once they are fully dried you can dress the tires to make them look brand new. And there you have it! Clean showroom quality Vöxx wheels!

1. Rinse wheels
2. Apply multipurpose cleaner to the tire and agitate
3. Apply cleaning product wheel and agitate
4. Rinse
5. Dry
6. (Optional) Apply tire dressing to the wall of the tire
